Session XVI

Into the manor house. The manor is in complete disarray, mired in filth. Rotten food, excrement, general refuse. Gavigan is now our reluctant, and misleading guide through the manor. His trust wavers from room to room as his information is sometimes truthful but often duplicitous.

I asked him about the painting and he says that it is in a safe place. I suggest that later we shall go find it and see what condition it is in.

Our first found hostage is a woman of unknown bias. Inevitably she starts turning serpentine. Our second hostage is a reluctant cultist. His name is Bachul and he agrees to give us additional insight into the manor.

In a treasure room, I find an unfinished letter.

I attempt to strike a deal with Gavigan to retrieve the painting.
